What started as a small idea has turned into one of our favorite parts of the shop. Our book clubs are cozy, a little indulgent, and very much about community.
Whether you’re here to swoon, solve, cook, or learn, there’s a seat for you!
Our Book Clubs
We host a handful of different clubs each month, each with its own vibe (and yes, its own desserts). Most meet 1–2 times per month at our shop on St. Landry.
Here’s what you’ll find:
Romance Book Club
This is the one we’re known for 💕 A monthly night of swoony reads, a little bit of spice, and the kind of conversations you can’t have just anywhere.
We’re talking wine, champagne, macarons, desserts, and a room full of women reacting in real time to plot twists, tension, and ridiculousness (from the book and club members!).

Mystery Book Club
If you love a twist, this one’s for you 🔍 We read everything from cozy mysteries to edge-of-your-seat thrillers and spend the night trying to figure out what actually happened.

Cookbook Club
Each month, members cook from the same cookbook and bring dishes (and their notes!) to share. It’s relaxed, a little chaotic in the best way, and always delicious.

Cinema Club
Our most immersive experience 🎬 We read the book together, then a few weeks later, we head to a private theater for a screening. Bonus Pizza & PJs Cinema Club scheduled for summer 2026!

A little extra love for books…
If you’ve been cleaning out your shelves and have books you’d like to pass along, we’re happy to take them and bring them to our friends at the local library.
They’ll be re-homed through the Friends of the Library book sales, supporting our community and libraries in the best way.
